No longer just an application for registration

The New Electronic services include more than just an application for registration. We have made it easier for you to log in. All the screens have been improved to prevent errors and to make it easier to fill out your applications. Some of our new services are available for all associations. See the New Services section below.


Save Time by Using the Electronic Application

By submitting your applications electronically, you are saving the mailing time of sending your applications to CLRC. Once you press the ‘Submit’ button, your application is at CLRC.

Also, because the application is designed to prevent most simple errors, your applications can be processed more quickly.

Some data is filled in based on your CLRC account settings. For example, if you have a herd name, that will automatically be set in the animal’s name.

Some data is carried over from application to application to save you time. This is especially true in the case of multiple births when the sire, dam and birth dates are all carried forward. Even in the case of single births, some commonly repeated data is carried over to the next application.

The ‘customer’ log in is now automated. You are directed immediately to your personal log in window.

Passwords are required but may be requested by clicking on the link on the log in window. You will receive your log in password by E-Mail within seconds.

Note – Some anti-spam programs may block your password E-Mail. You may need to make adjustments to your anti-spam settings, or check your spam mail.

No Software Download Required

Download of the Appx Desktop Client is no longer required.

Also, the Appx Desktop Client is no longer supported. You will be automatically directed to if you try to use the Appx Desktop Client.

New Hardware Support

This version is now supported on Tablets as well as most computers. It is possible to use a smart phone but it has not been optimized for it and not recommended.

New Services

  • On-Line Membership renewal (Available to all breeds)
  • Update your account information (address, telephone, E-Mail etc.) including privacy settings for the website (Available to all breeds)
  • Track your applications whether submitted electronically or not. You can see when your applications have been received, when they are approved, when they were mailed and to whom they were mailed. (Available to all breeds)
  • Order your DNA applications at the same time as you apply for registration. This avoids duplicate paperwork.
  • Did you make a mistake? No problem. You may edit your applications any time until they are approved.
  • Have you changed your mind about registering an animal? No problem. Up until the application is approved, you may delete any application.
  • Receipts may be printed for your applications at any time, either when you are entering them or afterwards as a group or individually.
  • More services will be provided in the future. Watch for announcements.

New ERA Agreements are not needed for Membership Renewal or for maintaining your account.

  • Your E-Mail address must be on file at CLRC. (contact CLRC if your current E-Mail address is not connected to your CLRC account)
